weapons with elemental damage
For weapons that have elemental damage, it's description might say "Fire Dmg: 10-33 (requires X, Y) where 'X' is the level, and 'Y' is the attribute needed.
Does this mean that if you have the attribute with the required level, then the weapon with automatically deal that elemental damage with each attack? And if you don't then no elemental magic will discharge? |

As far as I know, the damage will always be elemental, it's just the amount of damage that changes, not the type.

Will always deal the stated damage type regardless of requirement met or not.

If the requirement is not met, the amount of damage will be lower, but the type of damage will be unchanged. (so you will deal less fire damage)
